WHO IS THIS PROGRAM FOR

The Breath 4 week intensive program is for surfers, mixed martial artists, yoga teachers, cross fitters, endurance athletes, personal trainers and coaches or anyone looking to discover more about breath work and themselves. This program teaches breathing exercises to improve endurance and performance, increase lung capacity, anatomy of breathing, understanding the nervous system, breathing dysfunctions, fundamentals of gas exchange,  as well as  breathing for stress relief and recovery. It is based on the newest proven research conducted on breathing muscles and lung capacity measures.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT

This program starts with an assessment of breathing muscle strength, lung capacity, and CO2 tolerance. It goes on to cover breathing pattern dysfunctions, how to manage daily stress and anxiety, discover CO2 tolerance training and it’s effects on performance and endurance. As well as understanding the effects the breath has on the nervous system. You will develop a personal practice and each participant will receive a booklet to refer to during the course and can be easily referred to for an ongoing at home practice.

 

WHY TAKE THIS PROGRAM

This program will give you a deeper understanding of the breath and it’s effect on your physiology, helping to differentiate yourself from your colleagues, team mates and competition becoming more efficient with your time, energy and productivity. You will gain skills to help manage daily stress, understand the mind/body connection and creating overall well-being.

Small Group of 5-10 participants only.
