What vaccinations do I need?

We encourage you to consider having vaccinations before you travel as outlined by Smart Traveller. We suggest making an appointment with your doctor or travel clinic, at least eight weeks before you depart, for a basic health check-up, and to discuss your travel plans and any implications for your health, particularly if you have an existing medical condition.

Do I need a Visa?

Visa requirements are different for every country, every person and can change intermittently. For most recent information on visas for your trip please visit Smart Traveller

Do I need a Passport?

Yes! Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months after the date you intend to return to Australia.

Do I need travel insurance?

We suggest your travel insurance covers you (as the participant) for the location, retreat dates and includes medical coverage. Please note, even if you have private health insurance in Australia or your respective Country of residence, it is unlikely that this insurance will cover overseas trips such as the retreats offered by The H.E.L.P Experience. It is your responsibility to organise suitable travel and health insurance. Although we strongly encourage you to do so, you acknowledge that The H.E.L.P Experience is not in the business of providing insurance products and cannot be held liable if your failure to arrange suitable insurance coverage leaves you exposed, medically, financially or otherwise.

How many people will be on this retreat?

Our group sizes will be 10-20 people and will always have a good teacher to student ratio while keeping in mind the joy and connection that come with larger groups.

Can I go on a H.E.L.P Experience or Retreat by myself?

Yes! A lot of our participants choose to come alone. If you’re traveling alone, we believe a H.E.L.P Experience or Retreat is the best way to meet new people with similar interests in a safe and healthy environment.

Who will I share a room with?

If you are traveling alone and prefer to share your room, we will do our best to match you with another traveler of the same gender and age. However, this isn't always possible. Please keep this in mind when booking a shared room. Alternatively, you can check if there is a private room booking available. If this concerns you we advise you to book a private room for yourself, if you make the choice to come alone.

Do I need yoga experience?

No matter your level of experience, our yoga classes and workshops allow for all levels to participate, learn and grow together. Our teachers are experienced and extremely qualified to ensure that everyone’s yoga needs will be met.

What should I bring?

Trip details will be emailed once booking is confirmed. But generally you should bring: yoga mat, sunscreen, comfortable clothes and shoes, swimmers, sunglasses, book, journal, reusable water bottle, and an open mind.

When will I receive trip details?

Upon booking, you will confirmation email with general trip information. As the date approaches you will receive trip reminders and specifics relevant to your retreat.
